Elvira Bartzoka
Born in Athens, she has graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, holds a Master's degree from the Department of Theatre Studies, as well as the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory. She has also studied English, French, Italian and Spanish, obtaining the corresponding diplomas at all levels.
She has been involved in dance from a very young age and holds the English diplomas of the systems RAD and ISTD ( adv.2 level ) as well as the diploma ‘Fin d´ etudes de la danse classique in Bourges’ [exile nationale de musique et de dance]. She has also attended as a dancer classical ballet seminars with D. Lommel, A. De Ligniere, M. Liepa, A. Astier, M. Martinez, J. Guise fix, W. Piglet, M. Lopez, flamenco seminars with Antonio Alvarez and modern seminars with Pieter Goss. She has danced with Aenon dance theatre (ΚΘΒΕ) in Greece and France, Seresta Dance Company, Nausicaa dance theatre, National Theatre, Polytechno theatre.
As a dance teacher she has taught at the private drama school " Prova" of M. Razi, drama school "Iasmos", Ionian school, Lycée Franco-Hellenique school, the private school of M. Popescu. For the last 8 years, she has been assistant of D. Lommel at the Chorologie studio, having obtained the Certificate d´Obtention de l´U.V. [of applied anatomy in dance, pedagogy and history of dance]. As a kinesiologist she has worked at the ALTERA PARS theatre and the theatre group of the American College.
